CONSIST (Construction and industrial Safety Training) is a training and services group that focus only in the field of Safety, Occupational Health and Environment. Courses conducted by CONSIST are approved and accredited by the industries and government such as Petronas, Shell, ExxonMobil, Talisman, Murphy Oil, Petrofac and others. Among the government agencies that approved courses conducted by CONSIST are Department of Occupational and Health (DOSH), Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA), Public Service Department (PSD), Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), Fire and Rescue Department, Royal Malaysian Air Force, Marine Department, Construction Industry Development Board and others. Since 1996 CONSIST has trained over 38, 000 participants until end of 2011.

Our objective is to produce internationally accredited graduates so that CONSIST graduates are not only easily accepted in Malaysia but also qualified to serve overseas for a more substantial benefit.                    That is why the CONSIST college is the only college in Malaysia offering two simultaneous diploma programs integrated in this field for 3 years namely the Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health recognized by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia and NEBOSH International Diploma recognized by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) United Kingdom. Both of these recognitions are important for SHO graduates because they have many advantages in terms of qualifications from other graduates and of course the choice of industry.

CONSIST college graduates are also very fortunate to be privileged to pursue Bachelor Science (Honors) Safety, Health and Environment degrees awarded by Middlesex University London without having to go to UK. For this achievement, it is not appropriate for graduates of CONSIST college to pay enough to stop work to further their studies. Hence CONSIST with Middlesex University joint venture offers the degree program on a weekend basis over the course of 2 years for CONSIST graduates. With that achievement then a superior, complete and competent individual was born in the field of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment to capture the various industries out there. Up to 5th Convocation in December 2015 the CONSIST college has successfully produced 680 graduates at the Diploma level.

Students attending this field at CONSIST college not only have the minimum qualifications but also those with 8A, 7A, 6A and 5A graduates at the SPM level. This means that many SPM learner students have learned about the future of this field and have changed the course of conventional program programs such as engineering, doctorate, certification, administration, nursing, banking and others. To make this field an optional field of SPM learner, then CONSIST college has offered to students who are 7A and above to get Executive Leadership excellence of RM1000 each semester if it can maintain the score of at least GPA 3.5 pointers on every semester exam.

CONSIST is located in Ulu Kelang district on the northeast of Kuala Lumpur which is approximately 11 km away or 15 minutes’ drive from Kuala Lumpur City Centre (PETRONAS Twin Towers).  CONSIST can be easily reached by any mode of transport.  It is located along the MRR2 (Middle Ring Road 2) which is 100 meters away from the National Zoo or 45 minutes’ drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

CONSIST can also be reached from KLIA by KLIA Express Rail Link (ERL) which takes 28 minutes to KL Central Station and continue by Putra LRT Train to Wangsa Maju Station. It takes 10 minutes to CONSIST by taxi from Wangsa Maju Train Station.

CONSIST is operating from its own facilities consisted of Head Office and Training Complex which is located approximately 100 meters apart.

The Head Office is an 8-storey block and CONSIST College occupied Level 1 to Level 5.  Other support facilities are Student Service Centre, Administration Office, Student Centre, Cafe, Classrooms, Lecture Hall, Library, Computer Centre, Praying Area and others.

Facilities at the Training Complex sprawling over an acre comprises of Registration Office, Main Hall, Life Boat Station, Fire Training Ground, Praying Area, Safety Shop, 25 Meters Lap Pool, Wave Pool, First Aid Room, Jumping Platform, Pavilion, 7 Classrooms, 3 Studios and others.  The latest facility that has been developed in the complex is the state-of-the-art purpose-built simulator building which is called CONSIST Aviation Training Theatre (CATT) for safety and survival training for the Aviation Industry.

Pass in SPM /SPMV/ O-Level or equivalent with:-

1) Credit one (1) science subject (Biology/Physic/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science)
2) Credit in Bahasa Malaysia
3) Credit any one (1) subject
4) Pass in English subject

• DIPLOMA IN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (PA3547)
